Installation Instructions

After importing the UnityPackage, add the Animation Controller to the "Playable Layers > Base > Base" setting in the "VRC Avatar Descriptor" component of the avatar you want to apply it to.

Specifications

When using body tracking such as HMD, the Animation Controller is set to prioritize animation playback, disabling tracking during movement or jumping.

Important Notes

Due to the nature of the Humanoid rig, poses may differ depending on the avatar's body type. This is particularly noticeable with avatars that have extremely long or short limbs or torso, so please use caution.

If the running motion doesn't play properly:

The running animation on all fours is set to fully activate when the "VelocityZ" value, which corresponds to the forward stick movement, reaches 3.5. You can check this value in the debug information on the VRChat game screen.

However, depending on the world settings in VRChat, such as movement speed restrictions, or slight differences in the player's control environment, the VelocityZ value might not reach 3.5, causing the running motion to fail to activate.

If you want the quadrupedal running motion to trigger even with a slight stick movement, you can adjust the value of "Pos Y" from 3.5 to a lower number in the blend tree "ROCR_Kemono_sprint_StandingLocomotion," specifically in the animation clip "ROCR_Kemono_sprint_01." This change will allow the running motion to transition earlier.
